It's been a long time since my last entry it's because I was busy with my studies and with revising my template (again. It never stop.) Last January 8, 2009 after the long preparation (remember the pretesting activity that group 1 had?) the event had finally come. - Production Team - is in charge with the food and the second group - Service Team - is in charge with the venue and anything that concern outside the kitchen like the program, prices, souveiner and more.
I will going to show you our preparation from both team down to the event proper. Let us start first with the production team.
The Production Team
When I arrived one hour after the call time [hahaha. As usual I' am late!] the ingredients were already there but it was untouched so it was not only I who was late but EVERYONE. yepey! lolz.
After a few minutes we started doing our work.
We in the production area were assigned in every recipe that was part in the menu.
The housekeeper and dishwasher are the ones that have the easiest but tiring job. You know why. hahahaha
I was assigned to make the cookies together with 1 classmate.
while waiting for the cookies to be fully bake I helped them with the plates.
They're making Ala King something. I forgot the name.

Silagan and Jutba was assigned on this one.
Some of the foods were already done so my classmates with the guidance of our instructor placed toothpicks in every single food (The theme is bar so the foods were fingerfoods)

Tadadang. The finger foods. It was very tiring and the atmosphere was like in the real world and I pictured-out my self working in a fastfood chain and I must say [Obama's voice] Yes, I can!
Our function Room was used as the employee's eating place since we had the event in the lobby.
So, you have seen already the preparation in the Production Team now lets move on to the Service Team. Shall we?
The Service Team
This was the souveiner for our costumers when it was not yet rolled. This is a coster and it fits for the theme (Bar)
Tendedeng this was it. so your money will not be wasted because you'll not go home empty handed.
They rented tall tables and highball glasses just for this activity. This was before they started decorating the venue and
this was when the docorating started.

and the waiters had already freshen-up and beautify themselves after the preparation in the venue. And this what come out after they've done it.

I told them to have a group picture coz they're all look great that night.
After few minutes, there were already guest coming in so I needed to go back to the kitchen.

I thought our job was done but it wasn't. We started being busy again.

Irene, Me, Gwen. This is how I look when I' am tired. So the event was a success coz we got positive feedbacks and were all be receiving a flat 1 grade so it was indeed a successful one.
